Don’t Just Carry Out Link building; Make It Succeed!
Remember the well-known political quote, "I'll scratch your back, if you scratch mine"? Well, link building is based on this very concept. It's a process in which you add more and more links to your website. The big question is: why do many people struggle at niche marketing? Is it really difficult to go about link building to build popularity for your site? Well, it IS tough to maintain a continuous link to one site. And when you wish to build links across multiple websites, it gives shivers to people.
Process Of Link Building If you are well-versed with the tips and tools of link building, it doesn't seem like an impossible task. Set a target niche, create the articles of your site, submit them to web directories, build or request links through blogs or from other sites. Maintain this routine for several months. The only roadblock here is that it requires a lot of patience and persistent efforts to build links. Many people do not understand this and generally quit halfway.
For Large Number Of Websites What if you have 10, 25, 50, or 100 websites for link building? In this case, you require full-time staff to build links. One way to make things easier is to look at the market competition while researching niches. If a niche is highly competitive in the search engine results page (SERPS), it's gonna take much more hard work for building links. However, if you undergo a good niche selection, you need not build thousands of links and can do with small niches over months or years.
Niche Selection There are infinite numbers of small niches that show potential for profit. That's why niche selection has great significance and helps in the link building campaign. Say, it's better to go for a niche around a keyword that achieves more than 100 visitors per day and needs just a few hundred links; rather than going for a niche keyword obtaining about 1000 visitors per day, but requiring thousands of links to get good rankings in the major search engines. It's easier to get a few hundred links to a website than going for thousands of them. Moreover, it eases the competition and makes it effortless to outrank the rest in a shorter time period. One thing's for sure - you cannot opt for link building without proper knowledge about how the process works and what its significance is. Besides, you need to be familiar with techniques and strategies for building the popularity of your site. You need to know how to make the most from a link. Only when you are armed with the right tools and techniques of link building, your efforts will pay. Otherwise, it will turn out to be just a case of trial and error. |
